Great capture, and I have to agree he is abit of a nut surfing this time of year !
I'm impressed with the angle of this shot, you managed to place the surfer well and also include the lighthouse with the waves crashing along the stone jetty.

Those extra details add a roughness to the sea and this image. Nice work
